Welcome to the parish of Mary, Mother of Mercy! In recognizing Mary as a mother of mercy, it is easy to approach her in prayer with confidence and joy. Please join us in faith and in prayer at any of our three churches:
- Holy Cross in Ovid, New York;
- St. Francis Solanus in Interlaken, New York; and
- St. James the Apostle in Trumansburg, New York.
The Parish of Mary, Mother of Mercy was established in 2016 when Bishop Salvatore Matano decreed that the parishes of Holy Cross Church, Ovid; St. Francis Solanus, Interlaken; and St. James the Apostle, Trumansburg were to be united. The resulting 40 mile long parish territory is situated between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes in Upstate NY.
Our pastor is Fr. Bernard Maloney, OFM Cap. The parish office is located at the Parish Center: 3660 Orchard St., Interlaken, New York.
